This morning E woke up on the wrong side of the bed. She was grumpy with me and her sisters. Respect is my latest ax to grind around here. It seems that when E is upset she takes it out on others with rude remarks and yelling...hmmm, I wonder where she gets that from.
Today was a day for laundry around here. I am determined to get it under control but that determination seems to wane after about three days. I peeled the couch cushion covers off and got them prepped for a spin in the washer. Can't wait to see my couch without marker and food stains again!
I made fresh salsa for after school. I am super excited about it. Spring afternoons are best spent on the deck with salsa and chips. Yum!
I am still getting used to having a boy in the house. Constant destruction, bumps and bruises, LOUD. They are physically demanding in a different way. And then he smiles and I see the sunshine and for a moment I forget the work and tears and exhaustion.
Today is a good day.
